Hannah (likely Daniel)

also: Hannah Knott (FS user-tree surname; unsourced, likely fabricated) · Hannah Daniel (hypothesis from 1762 Orphans Court administration of James Daniel estate)

Hannah, wife of John Hindman of London Grove Chester County PA. Married c.1755 London Grove. CORRECTION 2026-06-06: her maiden surname is NOT 'Knott' as long claimed on FamilySearch — that attribution is unsourced and likely fabricated. The 1789 will of her husband names her as 'Hannah' without surname. A more probable maiden surname is DANIEL, based on a 1762 Chester County Orphans Court entry showing 'John Hindman and Hannah his wife' administering the estate of James Daniel — typical 18th-century administration practice gave the widow/daughter the administration, suggesting Hannah was James Daniel's daughter. Pending verification via Chester County deed and probate records.
